ICEYE US commends progress from the House Armed Services Committee Republicans and House Armed Services Committee Democrats. This week, the Strategic Forces Subcommittee advanced critical amendments supporting the Tactical Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Tracking (TacSRT) Program in the FY2026 NDAA markup.
Notable provisions include the Section 1604's Program of Record designation for TacSRT and Rep. Lance Gooden's Amendment (Log 5581) strengthening commercial data and analytics integration. Additionally, new Joint Chiefs Requirements ensure TacSRT addresses combatant commander priorities.
This bipartisan action enables:
"A Program of Record designation represents more than funding—its recognition that commercial capabilities are operationally relevant for maintaining readiness long term," said Eric Jensen, CEO of ICEYE US. "TacSRT builds on years of Space Force integration successes to match warfighter needs with proven COTS capabilities delivered fast."
We recognize Chairman Mike Rogers, Ranking Member Adam Smith, and the Strategic Forces Subcommittee for recognizing TacSRT's role in maintaining America's space advantage.
After several years of demonstrated utility as piloted by TacSRT, transitioning to an operational, mulit-year effort ensures sustained development of commercially-available services critical to future Space Force needs.
