Veteran National Security Leader and Geospatial Intelligence Visionary Joins Board as Company Expands its Strategic Leadership

IRVINE, CA — April 27, 2026 — ICEYE US, a leading provider of persistent Earth observation capabilities for national security and commercial customers, today announced the appointment of Keith J. Masback to its Board of Directors. An accomplished Army officer, senior defense and intelligence executive, and respected voice across the national security space community, Masback brings more than three decades of operational, policy, and private sector experience to the role at a pivotal moment in the company's growth.

Masback served over 20 years as a U.S. Army officer and senior government civilian, culminating as a member of the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. As Director of the Source Operations Group, he led a globally deployed 500-person organization responsible for 24/7/365 operational tasking of space-based imaging systems — including contracted commercial assets. Earlier in his career, he served as the Army's first Director of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Integration, shaping the national, joint, and combined collection and analytic architectures that supported the full range of Army operations. Following his government service, Masback served as President and CEO of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation for over a decade, significantly expanding its membership, academic reach, and the visibility of the geospatial intelligence tradecraft. He currently leads Plum Run, LLC, an advisory and consulting firm focused on geospatial intelligence and deep tech startups and serves as a Founding Principal of the Earth Fire Alliance. A prolific angel investor, Masback has backed a portfolio of early-stage companies at the forefront of geospatial intelligence and defense technology.

Masback chairs the Board of Earth Daily Federal and serves as an independent board member for Cognitive Space. He is a Non-Resident Advisor to the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies and a member of the Geography and Geographical Sciences Committee of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine. He is a former member of the Advisory Committee on Commercial Remote Sensing and a former Chair of the National Geospatial Advisory Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College and completed the Post-Graduate Intelligence Program at the National Intelligence University.

"Keith is among a rare group who have created value at the nexus of commercial Earth observation, defense acquisition, and national security policy, and we're fortunate to welcome him to our Board. Few people bring the combination of operational credibility and strategic breadth that Keith does. His perspective will be essential as we rapidly scale."
— Eric Jensen, CEO, ICEYE US

"The increasingly complex threat environment demands decisive action in support of our national security, and that means the DoW and IC need world-leading commercial capabilities provided by mission-focused teams that move with urgency. ICEYE US has built exactly that: an unparalleled foundation, a world-class team, and the conviction to match the moment. Im committed to working alongside my fellow directors and company leadership to help drive the organization boldly into the future."
